Unheard Voices Media & Arts Academy provides full on training for those who want to gain experience in the media, communications, and entertainment. The program runs each semester giving hands on experience in graphic/web design, photography, video production, journalism and interviewing, and project management. Students work with the award-winning magazine, Unheard Voices Magazine, and various other organizations through the semester.
I created this program because I felt there was a need in my community of Long Branch, NJ for programs allowing individuals to gain skills in fields they were interested in but didn’t have formal training. Students must be at least 16 years old to start in the program.
Our main location is in Long Branch, NJ, however students are accepted online granted they must attend online sessions.
